Project Support and Services Group, LLC A Global Consortium of Business Solutions Experts
You likely didn't just happen on our website. We don't buy ads or pay for placement, so few people stumble upon us. Rather, most people are referred to us by someone with whom they are already working -- lawyer, accountant, banker, consultant, industry leader -- who wants to help them solve their problem but doesn't quite have the expertise they need in their wheelhouse. But they care about their client's success, want to be part of the solution, and want to work with someone they know and trust. That's usually how people find us.
What usually happens next is that the trusted advisor with whom you are already working will tell our senior leadership a little about you and your needs. And, much like the opening scene in Mission Impossible! each week (sans the self destructing message and 8x10 glossies), we'll look through our portfolio for the right people and firms within our consortium to help meet your needs. At this point it's sometimes a "no" for us... sometimes the best person for a specific project is already engaged or is otherwise unavailable. We don't really add value by bringing an unknown to the table... you could do that without us.
If we have the assets available to meet your needs and exceed your expectations we will discuss your project in depth with you. We tend to be explicit about who does what when because we believe everyone is better off when deliverables and timelines are clearly understood At this point it's probably worth noting that you could likely, with a bit of work on your part, contract our associates and partners directly and save the small bit of profit we earn for having built our network over the last 25 years and the small fee we charge for project management. But, by contracting with us "as a bundle" you eliminate external dependencies and interfaces, buying yourself one of the greatest luxuries any project can have: when it comes to performance and project management you're "you", everyone our our team is "us", and there is no "them".
If we come to an agreement you will have a detailed schedule of deliverables and, irrespective of the team of individuals and firms we might assemble for your project, a single project manager with overall responsibility for the entire project with whom to work.
"That's when people call us... when they are actually ready to make things happen."
